Victory Shield day 2
News Date 01/11/2022
After torrential overnight rain, hearty congratulations to the grounstaff of Wexford and Tramore for getting their pitches perfect for today's games.
At Wexford, Wales and Scotland played out a very entertaining game with the lead changing hands three times before Scotland emerged with their 100% record intact.  In the evening game Northern Ireland took the lead only for the Republic to draw level with three minutes remaining.  Penalty decider again!  Marcus Gill, in the Republic goal, proved his pedigree saving three of the NI first four penalties whilst the Republic spot kickers were deadly accurate running out bonus point winners 3-1!
