Today's helping of first class girls U15 football was a real treat at Cochrane Park, Newcastle.  The battle for hnours between Northern Ireland and the Republic looked all over when the Republic went in to an early 3 goal lead but a determined Northern Irish display caused a few worries as they battled back to 3-2 at Half time.  The final score of Republic 4 Northern Ireland 3 had the spectators buzzing.  Meanwhile on pitch 1 the game between Scotland and Wales wasa real thriller.  Scotland took the lead, Wales pulled on back, Scotland scored again. Wales hit the crossbar twice but despite great efforts to add to the score no further goals came, Scotland 2 Wales 1.
