Tonight's final Centenary Shield game this season resulted in a good 3-0 win for the Republic of Ireland.  An unfortunate own goal set the Irish on the way and the gods clearly showed who they were favouring tonight when Wales had a penalty saved.  Daire Patton scored a screamer late in the first half.  A good effort by Hugh Parker found the back of the net in the 54th to put the game to bed.
